Project theme of TOKYO KNIT in 2021/2022 is “Factories have started talking… TOKYO KNIT STORY”. In this year, TOKYO KNIT is going to make strong efforts to strengthen D2C business and transmit information. The followings are two trials.
Many of certificated companies of TOKYO KNIT have been mainly doing OEM business for apparel brands. They will make strong efforts to strengthen their own D2C business to develop new sales network and actively challenge new business.
In order to transmit the information of D2C brands actively, Factory Brand page has been newly released in this site. Not only introduction of brands and items but also back-ground story about brands can be seen. It would be possible to purchase items through EC site of certificated companies. Please check it out!
Influencer marketing through SNS for their factory brands is scheduled, as well.
Official YouTube Channel, TOKYO KNIT OFFICIAL, has started offering movies to introduce certificated companies. 24 movies will be released by the end of February 2022 under three categories, “Introduction of companies and factories”, “Introduction of original brands”, and “TOKYO KNIT supporters”. As round 1, the following three movies have been released: “Introduction of companies and factories vol.1 Kawai Dyeing Works”, “Introduction of original brands vol.1 Nakahashi Knitting” … Nakahashi Knitting makes Merippa and Merippa process story.
